Salon Madeleine offers, of course, a competitive salary & the opportunity to work in one of the newest salons in the Melbourne/Suntree/Viera area. The salon owner, Lisa Purinton, works along with our stylists to teach & grow each to their full potential.
As Melbourne’s Aveda Lifestyle salon, Salon Madeleine is proud to offer the Aveda product line to its clients. Our stylists can feel good using professional coloring, lightening, perming & styling products that are vegan, all-natural, offer minimum packaging & focus on conserving water in the salon, as well as for the client to take home.

New Talent Stylist - Level 1
FULL TIME
The New Talent Stylist is a stylist who has just recently graduated beauty school. He/she has the basic skills & knowledge, but now needs to learn more about advanced cutting, color formulations, texture services and finish styling. He/she does not have a following yet, but might have a few friends and family that love their work & might be willing to
be part of the training process. The New Talent Stylist will work closely on his/her training
with the Salon Owner and team to develop their skills & grow to become a New Talent Level 2 Stylist in approximately 1 year. The New Talent Stylist may be asked to fill in at the
front desk from time to time.
- Ability to deliver a great haircut.
- Strong haircutting foundation.
- Willingness to learn & adapt as needed
- Desire to build his/her skills to the next level.

- A passion for hair, salons, their guests & working with other stylists.

Designer Stylist - Level 2
FULL TIME
The Level 2 Stylist is a stylist who has been working in a salon environment for 2+ years. He/she has developed confidence in their coloring skills, color formulation, as well as progression in their haircutting skills. She/he now wants to further develop their customer service, client retention, pre-booking and consultations skills. He/she also wants to continue to learn new techniques in both coloring, highlighting, haircutting. The
Level 2 stylist may have interest in continuing to grow their skill set with extensions & bridal services. She/he may or may not have developed a following yet, but does have a few customers that love their work & might be willing to try a new salon. The Level 2 Stylist will have regular reviews with the Salon Owner to track progress to grow to become a Level 3 – Senior Stylist. A Level 2 stylist may also be an experienced stylist entering the salon without any clientele. The Level 2 price structure is a good place for a stylist new to the salon to build their book quickly. Previous knowledge of Aveda
products would be appreciated but not necessary.

FULL TIME
The Level 3 Senior Stylist is a stylist who has been working in a salon environment for a minimum of 5 years, but usually 10+. He/she has excellent coloring & highlighting skills, plus the ability to give a truly precision haircut. If working within the same market most likely would have a following. If coming from another market or region has no following but knows how to build quickly. With years of experience behind them He/she is ready to jump in with orientation to the salon and Aveda. Previous knowledge of Aveda products would be appreciated but not necessary. Through meeting benchmarks in client retention, pre-booking, service and retail sales a level 3 stylist has the opportunity to progress to a level 4 Master stylist.
